                               RESOLUTION NO. 18841
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF
                   ONE THOUSAND (1,000) FEET OF EIGHT INCH (8")
                   WATER MAIN AND TWO (2) FIRE HYDRANTS FOR
                   PUBLIC FIRE PROTECTION ON MOUNTAIN CREEK
                   ROAD, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN,
                   AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE TARIFF
                   THEREFOR.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the installation of 1,000 feet of
       eight inch (8") water main and two (2) fire hydrants for public
       fire protection on Mountain Creek Road be and is hereby 
authorized
       at locations listed as follows:
            1.	 The water main will be installed beginning at the
                 point of intersection at Mountain Creek Road and
                 Stonebrook Drive, south 1,000 feet to termination.
           
            2.	 The two (2) fire hydrants are to be installed at
                 the road intersection and 1,000 feet south of the
                 same intersection.
           
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the tariff to
       the Hixson Utility District be and is hereby authorized.
